The school intends to renovate existing washrooms located in its buildings. The washrooms are currently in use but require renovation to improve hygiene, safety, functionality, and appearance, ensuring they are age-appropriate and suitable for student use.

Scope of Work

Civil & Masonry Works

  • Removal and replacement of floor & wall tiles (anti-slip)
  • False ceiling installation (where required)
  • Waterproofing and leakage treatment
  • Construction/modification of cubicles
  • Provision of secure janitorial pantry

2. Plumbing & Sanitary Works

  • Installation of age-appropriate/student & standard staff fixtures
  • Drainage system installation and correction (internal & external drains)
  • Replacement/rectification of sewer and drain lines (where required)
  • Odor control and proper slope execution

3. Electrical & Accessories

  • LED lights, switches, exhaust fans, ventilation systems
  • Hand dryers installation
  • Grab bars, mirrors (safe & age-appropriate)
  • Soap dispensers, tissue holders
  • Waterproof, anti-graffiti door panels

Technical Requirements

  • Submission Requirements

    • Company profile & relevant experience
    • Technical & financial proposal
    • Tile samples (as per proposed specifications)
    • Clear mention of brand names for all materials including sanitary fixtures, hand dryers, accessories, etc.
    • Proposed timeline and work methodology

     Warranty & Compliance

    • Contractor shall provide a minimum 1-year warranty
    • Warranty must cover leakage, seepage, and workmanship defects
    • All issues must be rectified within 20 days at no additional cost
    • Replacement must be done using approved materials and same brand
    • Warranty letter must be attested by the Chamber of Commerce

     

    Important Notes

    • Site visits are mandatory before submission
    • All materials must meet safety and hygiene standards suitable for school use
    • Contractor is responsible for complete execution (material + labor)

     

Commercial Requirements

Commercial Terms

  • 40% Advance Payment
  • 30% upon completion of 50% work (definition of 50% progress must be clearly stated by the contractor in proposal)
  • 20% upon full completion & handover
  • 10% after 6 months from handover (retention period)

Submission Instructions

All proposals must be submitted through the vendor portal before the deadline. Late submissions may not be considered.
