Academic Coordinator

The Relevant School Academic Coordinator supports the Deputy Head in managing daily operations, implementing strategic plans, and ensuring high‑quality academic and co‑curricular programs within the designated School section

Assist with daily management issues and strategic planning for the relevant School section.

Assist the Deputy Head, when requested, with management issues and strategic planning (development, implementation, and regular updates) related to the relevant School academic program.

Assist the Deputy Head in reviewing and evaluating non‑academic programs within the School on a regular basis to determine viability, need, and future direction.

Oversee the implementation of student curricular and co‑curricular programs and activities within the relevant School section.

Oversee the implementation of student leadership programs and activities within the relevant School section.

Monitor school assemblies and utilize assembly time to reinforce school policies related to discipline, dress code, and ethical values among students and staff.

Monitor and acknowledge staff and student involvement within the relevant School section.

Assist in the development and review of policies and procedures relevant to the School.

Assist in the School’s complaints‑handling procedures and, where necessary, bring matters to the attention of appropriate personnel.

Ensure a high level of maintenance and security in the facilities used within the relevant School section, in cooperation with the Maintenance Manager.

Ensure that the relevant School section is a safe environment in accordance with policies, procedures, and consultation with the Deputy Head.

Provide counselling to teachers when needed.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field;

Demonstrated experience in school leadership, coordination, or program management.

Strong understanding of curriculum implementation, student development, and co‑curricular programming.
